For my commercial, I chose a song that I can relate to, to further make my commercial personable, and feel more like me. My song is instrumental. I purposely did that so you can truly hear the beautiful music of the song. The song is in my favorite genre of music, and the meaning of the song is deep, and has multiple layers. Not only do I relate to this song, but it is genuinely a wonderful sounding song. I picked out pictures of me when I was younger. I did this since my commercial is about me growing up, and how I've changed throughout the years. I felt more careless and free, pushing the narrative of my commercial of being a young kid with no cares in the world. I chose some other pictures that don't have me in it, that relate to me. They further explain my personality, and what completes me. These faceless pictures are essentially the little puzzle pieces that when put together, make me who I am. The videos that I chose are very similar to my photos in the sense that they represent me, and how when I was younger I felt no pressure to be who I wanted to be. I would always think that when I was younger I looked ugly. However, I was just happy and didn't care about anything or anyone else. I chose everything meticulously. Everything I chose for my commercial was chosen for a reason. Every aspect describes me. The reason I took a more personal route with this commercial is because I want it to be truly seen as me. When I look at my commercial, I wanna think of me. I wanna think about how I grew up, what I was like, who I was.
